Direct from Hawaii’s official state tree, this Kukui Nut Oil is prized by Hawaiians for its wonderful hair care benefits. It is easily absorbed through the skin layers, leaving the skin feeling immediately smooth and hydrated without that overly greasy presentation. It’s also used as an “after sun” treatment to quickly rehydrate the top skin layers.  While researching the benefits of this oil, I found that quite a few people claim this oil has assisted with their ongoing healing process of skin issues such as common rashes, eczema, and psoriasis.

For hair care, many cultures use a bit of this oil directly on their comb.  It is said to help combat dandruff, and to impart a beautiful shine and glow. 

Marula Oil, Virgin is obtained by cold pressing the kernels of the Sclerocarya birrea.

This unrefined oil has gained popularity as an additive to hair care formulations for its ability to moisturize and strengthen the hair.
